By becoming a member of the OIST Faculty and Staff Association, you have the right to representation and protection of the Association from unjust dismissal.
Membership dues support OIST FSA's activities and contribute to the labor union umbrella organization, Rengo Okinawa. No members of the OIST FSA Executive Committee receive any remuneration for their services. Revenue pays our membership in Rengo Okinawa (¥500 / member / month), attorney's fees, supplies, and other expenses.
Monthly membership dues are ¥1,500 for full-time employees and ¥1,000 for part-time employees or former employees seeking to recover their positions. If you have questions, please contact the OFSA Treasurer at ofsa.bursar@protonmail.com
